Macemark Technology operates across three distinct business pillars. Understanding how each pillar works — and how they connect — will help you understand where your role fits within the broader business.

Health

The Health pillar focuses on sterilisation, infection control, and reprocessing. Macemark supplies capital equipment, consumables, and service support to hospitals, day surgery centres, and sterile supply departments. This includes sterilisers, washer-disinfectors, packaging systems, and associated products.

Compliance with Australian and New Zealand standards — including AS/NZS 5369:2023 — is central to everything we do in this space. The products and services in this pillar directly affect patient safety, and our team approaches that responsibility accordingly.

Endoscopy

The Endoscopy pillar supports hospitals and specialist centres with endoscope reprocessing equipment, accessories, and related services. Endoscope reprocessing is a technically complex, regulation-heavy area where errors can have direct consequences for patient outcomes.

Macemark works closely with clinical and infection control teams to ensure that reprocessing workflows meet current standards and that equipment is maintained to manufacturer specifications.

Life Science

The Life Science pillar supplies equipment, reagents, and consumables to pathology laboratories, research institutions, and other scientific facilities. Products range from laboratory instruments and analytical equipment to specialised consumables and reagents.

This pillar requires a high level of technical knowledge and close supplier relationships. Macemark's Service team provides application support, installation, and ongoing service to ensure customers get the most from their equipment.

How the pillars work together

While each pillar serves different customers with different needs, all three share the same operational infrastructure — including our field service network, quality management system, compliance function, and customer support team. When you deliver excellent work in your role, you are supporting all three pillars, regardless of which one you work most closely with.
