Our Values and Culture

Macemark Technology's values are the foundation on which all of our policies, decisions, and behaviours rest. They are set out in the Code of Conduct (MACE-POL-017) and are not abstract concepts. They translate directly into how we expect every person to behave at work.

Honesty

We are truthful and transparent in all our interactions, with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and regulators. Honesty means accurate records, honest reporting, and speaking up when something is not right, even when it is uncomfortable. Maintaining accurate and complete records, including time sheets, expense claims, service reports, validation records, and training records, is a direct expression of this value.

Integrity

We do what we say we will do. We comply with Australian law and Macemark's policies, not because we are told to, but because we understand why they matter. We do not offer or accept bribes, we disclose conflicts of interest, and we protect confidential information. Integrity means our behaviour is consistent whether or not anyone is watching.

Accountability

We take ownership of our work and our actions. When something goes wrong, we say so promptly, investigate, and fix it. We do not shift blame or look for shortcuts. This applies at every level of the organisation. Our CEO, Michael Norman, sets the tone for accountability across the business.

Respect

We treat every person, colleagues, customers, suppliers, healthcare professionals, and the public, with courtesy, fairness, and dignity. Macemark has a zero-tolerance position on bullying, harassment, and discrimination. A respectful workplace is not just a legal requirement; it is how we do things here.

Excellence

Our strategic direction is to grow as the trusted technical partner of choice for sterilisation and infection control equipment in the Australian healthcare sector. That aspiration demands excellence in technical knowledge, service quality, compliance, and the outcomes we deliver for customers whose patients depend on what we do.

What this means for you

You do not need to memorise these values. What we ask is that you bring them into your day-to-day work: ask questions, do things properly, speak up if something is not right, and look after the people around you. You will also be asked to formally acknowledge the Code of Conduct during your first week.
